Class Description
Level 1 is your on-ramp. We build calm, confidence, and simple moves that work under stress. You’ll learn: * Reconnecting intuition, bias check, situational awareness (exits, distance) * Neutral/power stance + voice (“No” as a boundary) * Recovering from a push (base, step off-line, create space) * Wrist/arm-grab releases from multiple angles + safe exits Who it’s for: Newcomers and returning students. What to bring: Water, comfortable clothes; gear provided. Safety: Agenda posted, content warnings, opt-outs anytime.

Aloha! By signing up for classes with Ohana Self-Defense, you agree to the following: 🛡️ Liability Waiver Classes include physical activity and 1:1 role-play, and hands-on training. As an adult participant (18+), you agree not to hold Ohana Self-Defense, its instructors, volunteers, or affiliates liable for any injuries sustained during participation. You acknowledge and accept all risks and waive your right to pursue legal action. ♿ Accessibility & Modifications We welcome adults of all abilities. Modifications are available for participants with limited mobility. Please indicate any accessibility needs in your registration form so we can best support you in a trauma-informed and inclusive way. 📅 How to take classes: Start with Level 1 (Mon) → continue to Level 2 (Wed) → finish with Level 3 (Fri).
